In this work, the reminiscent feelings of road trips and family travel are explored through the lens of travel posters. My art celebrates the unforgettable stories, the essence of shared experiences, and the charm of the journey. Through the form of travel posters, my art seeks to commemorate not just the destinations, but the shared experiences that make up our travels.Road trips are more than meager journeys; as they are rites of passage that solidify family bonds and create a lifetime of memories. Through vibrant and whimsical reinterpretations of travel posters, I aim to capture the enjoyment and spontaneity of these adventures. Each piece is a visual recognition of the joy of travel with family, and the encounters that were made along the way. The pieces do not depict the destination,but the fun that is had along the way. They also reflect not just the physical landscapes we cross, but also the emotional terrains we encounter with loved ones. The exaggerated colors, bold typography, and stylized illustrations are designed to rekindle the thrill of setting off on a new adventure, while also celebrating the simple pleasures oftogetherness. Each of my five posters display a specific memory that was encountered along the five different trips in my life. By blending the art of travel posters with personal experience, I invite viewers to embark on their own journeys. The work serves as a proof to the joy of the open road, the beauty of the shared moments, and the timeless appeal of exploration.
